This one day (6 hour) course includes principles and concepts of estimating project costs; cost estimating and budget preparation; inputs into cost estimates; estimating tools and techniques; PERT techniques and monitoring and controlling costs. By the end of class, each participant will:

• Understand all the “elements” that should be included in a cost estimate.
•  Know how to use the PERT technique.
• Have an action plan to use for estimating projects.
• Be able to use the estimates for monitoring and controlling.
